The American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA) - Indiana Chapter, established in 1989, shares the responsibility for educating and interpreting the rules and regulations of cross-connection control in accordance with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). ABPA - Indiana continues to lead the state in developing training classes to certify backflow prevention assembly testers.
